Antel Water-Repel Gel is a highly effective waterproofing treatment based on alkylalkoxy-silanes. It protects brickwork, stone, and render from efflorescence, water-soluble pollutants, frost damage, and microbial attack. Unlike traditional liquid treatments, this gel formulation ensures deep penetration without dripping or excessive run-off.
Antel Water-Repel Gel is a viscous cream which exhibits the following characteristic properties:
- Drip-free application.
- Water and solvent-free.
- High concentration of active ingredients.
- Alkaline stable.
- Does not form a film.
- Penetrates deep in to the substrate.
- Can be applied without any loss, in one single step and without material running.
- Exhibits a strong beading effect.

How to Use
Preparation:
- Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application.
Repair cracks and re-point as needed.
- Remove dirt, moss, pollutants, and efflorescence.
- If rising damp is present due to a failed damp-proof course, remedy this before application.
- Mask off areas such as windows and doors to prevent accidental contact.
Application:
- Apply using a roller or brush.
- The silane active ingredient penetrates within 30 minutes to several hours, depending on substrate porosity.
- The milky-white gel disappears without residue.
- Antel recommends testing a small area first to ensure compatibility.
- Keep the surface dry for at least 24 hours post-application.

- Dense brickwork: ~15m² per 3 litres
- Extremely porous brickwork: ~7.5m² per 3 litres
Cleaning:
- Clean tools thoroughly with water after use.
Storage & Shelf Life:
Store between +5°C and +25°C, away from frost and direct sunlight.
Shelf life: At least 12 months unopened if stored correctly.
