Epoxy Filler

Antel Epoxy Filler is a high-performance, 100% solids epoxy filler designed for surface preparation before applying an epoxy paint.

This user-friendly product is ideal for most masonry substrates, render, concrete and plaster, ensuring a dense and uniform seal.

Supplied in convenient pre-packaged kits, it includes both resin and hardener dispersed in mineral fillers, making it easy to achieve a smooth, seamless finish.

Perfect for use in swimming pools, ponds, and occupied areas due to its low odor, this filler provides a robust solution for any application.

With a working life of 45 minutes and a full cure within 5-7 days, Antel Epoxy Filler is the reliable choice for a flawless surface.

1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, and loose particles.

2. Mixing: Pour the entire contents of the small pack into the larger pack. Use a slow-speed drill to mix thoroughly until completely blended. Continue mixing for an additional 2-3 minutes to ensure full dispersion.

3. Application: Using a palette knife or squeegee, apply the mixed material onto the prepared surface. For deeper repairs above 10mm, apply in layers, allowing approximately 3 hours between applications. Feather the edges for a seamless finish.

4. Curing: Allow the filler to set for 6-7 hours initially, achieving full cure and maximum resistance within 5-7 days. Overcoat with epoxy paint after 5 hours if needed.

5. Cleaning: Clean tools and equipment with xylene or solvent thinners immediately after use. Wash skin with soap and water.

PACKAGING

A two part product available in 1 Litre units. Non-returnable containers.

STORAGE

Store in a cool, dry and frost free area in original containers. Protect from freezing. Keep out of the reach of children. A shelf life in excess of 12 months can be expected for unopened containers kept in the above conditions.

DRYING & CURING

Working Life - 45 minutes
Initial Cure - 6-7 hours @ 75°F
Full Set Time - 24 hours
Full Cure & Maximum Resistance - 5-7 days

At 20 degrees C and with reasonable ventilation, the coating is touch dry in 24 hours and hard dry in 48 hours. Maximum cure, hardness and chemical resistance is obtained within 7 days.  Can be overcoated with an epoxy paint after 5 hours.

CLEANING EQUIPMENT

Clean skin with soap and water. Tools and equipment should be cleaned with xylene or solvent thinners. Consult Material Safety Data for safety and health precautions.

MIXING

The performance of the coating can be seriously impaired if the following instructions are not strictly adhered to.
Empty entire contents of the small pack in the big pack.
Wtih a slow speed drill, mix until materials are completely blended and no lumps are present. When the mix is complete it is advisable to mix/stir for a further 2-3 minutes to ensure complete dispersion of the 2 components.The material is now ready to apply immediately to the prepared areas.

APPLICATION

WARNING – DO NOT APPLY IN TEMPERATURES BELOW 10 DEGREES C

Apply mixed material onto working area using a palette knife/squeegee. For deeper repairs above 10mm, build up in layers between applications. Subsequent application should be possible after approximately 3 hours.

HEALTH & SAFETY

It is recommended that all skin contact is avoided and that any areas of contact are washed immediately with soap and warm water. It is advisable to use a barrier cream and gloves when applying. Always consult the safety data sheet.
