Non Flammable Contact Adhesive

Antel Non Flammable Contact Adhesive is a Genklene free cream coloured multipurpose, high performance contact adhesive.

USES

Particularly recommended for bonding rigid plastic laminates (e.g. Formica) to wood or wood composites.
It is also suitable for making permanent contact bonds between materials such as :-
Rigid PVC
PVC Leather Cloth
Polyurethane Foam
Rubber sheet and extrusions
all of which may be bonded to each other or to hardboard, plywood and painted and unpainted metal.

Its use has been proven in a wide cross section of industries including coach building, boat building, shop fitting, bar fitting trades, furniture and leather goods.

Antel Non Flammable Contact Adhesive is easily applied by serrated scraper or brush or sleeker. Ensure that the materials to be bonded are clean and free from grease, dust loose fibres, rust etc.

When surfaces become tacky to the finger (3-20 minutes) bond the materials under firm even pressure to ensure complete coalescence of the two adhesive films. Ensure that parts are positioned correctly (by pins or jigs) because permanent bonds are formed instantly on contact.
Maximum bond strength will require a further 24 - 48 hours to develop.

HEALTH & SAFETY

Although small amounts of flammable materials are present this product is non flammable. It is harmful by inhalation and irritating to the respiratory tract. If in contact with the eyes flush with water for at least 15 minutes and obtain medical attention urgently. Prolonged or repeated contact with the skin can cause severe irritation. Wash contaminated skin immediately. Harmful if taken internally - seek medical attention immediately. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.
