Preparation
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and contaminants. Existing coatings should be sanded and thoroughly cleaned to provide a sound base.
Do not apply over PVA or unstable substrates. Fill any cracks, voids, or imperfections before application.
Mixing
Mix the two components accurately. If splitting packs, use digital scales to maintain the correct ratio.
Pour the full contents of the B component into the A larger container and mix thoroughly using a slow-speed drill and paddle for 2–3 minutes until fully combined.
Once mixed, pour into roller trays to extend pot life and reduce heat build-up.
The coating is now ready to apply immediately to the prepared areas.
Application
Apply only when temperatures are above 10°C.
The pot life for this coating is 45 minutes at 20°C. Warmer temperatures will reduce the pot life of the coating, which is why we recommend application takes place mid-morning when being used outdoors.
When being applied outdoors, ensure there is at least a day of dry weather before starting application.
Once mixed, it is only possible to apply a single coat. Do not attempt to return to the mix to apply a second coat.
Use a plum line when applying over a large area to ensure no spots are missed.
Apply using a foam roller, fine pile roller or notched trowel/squeegee depending on the desired application thickness
After applying, wait 3-7 days (depending on temperature) before heavy traffic.
Drying & Curing
Touch dry: approx. 8 hours
Hard dry: approx. 12 hours
Light foot traffic: 24 hours
Full cure: 7 days
Allow full curing before heavy use or exposure to chemicals.
Tips for Best Results
- Work within the stated pot life to avoid thickening
- Apply in consistent, even layers for a smooth finish
- Avoid over-mixing to reduce air bubbles
- Ensure correct temperature conditions during application
- Thorough surface preparation is essential for strong adhesion
