Antel Epoxy Putty Rapid is a two part epoxy resin material with excellent adhesion to most building materials - wet or dry - even under water. It has very good chemical resistance coupled with excellent bond strength. Although outwardly rigid Epoxy Putty will accommodate approximately 5% tension and flexure. Once mixed, it will cure in 30 minutes and is then ready to sand.
Used to seal a wide variety of vertical and horizontal joints in such situations as:-
- Swimming pools and other water retaining structures.
- Water tanks/sewerage treatment plants
- Food processing plants.
Joints in concrete and earthenware pipes can now be effectively sealed. Ideal for sealing joints in acid resistant floor tiles where chemical resistance is required. As a putty type adhesive for most materials found in the construction industry.
Epoxy Putty is supplied in two parts. Pack A and Pack B making a total of 1 litre mixed material.
Non returnable containers.

8. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Surfaces must be free of all loose and flaking paint, dust, dirt, laitance or grease. It is most important that surfaces are properly prepared.
Take equal quantities from Packs A and B and mix together thoroughly until a completely uniform colour is obtained without streaks. Mixing is best carried out by hand. Wear gloves. Do not mix more material than can be used within 5- 10 minutes.
Immediately after mixing, press the Epoxy Putty into the joint sides with a trowel or palette knife to obtain maximum contact. A smooth finish can be achieved by tooling with a knife dipped in solvent. The material will not slump in joints up to 20mm wide by 20mm deep. Joints to be sealed should not be less than 6mm wide by 5 mm deep.
The pot life when mixed is 5 – 10 minutes
Initial cure is achieved in 30 minutes.
Full cure is achieved 2 - hours dependent upon the temperature. The lower the temperature the longer the cure time.
Do not use at temperatures below 4 degrees C.
8.5 tool cleaning
Tools can generally be cleaned in solvent provided they have not been allowed to dry.
